About ARCA
Established in 1961 by a group of Calgary and Edmonton roofing contractors, ARCA's primary objective then - and remains today - is to develop standards for roofing product use and application for the betterment of Alberta's roofing industry.
ARCA members annually perform approximately 70% of Alberta's Industrial/Commercial roofing applications - new and re-roof. Only ARCA members can issue the Warranty Certificate, which is a workmanship warranty backed by ARCA Warranty Ltd.
ARCA members have a proud and distinctive history of providing quality workmanship in all roofing industry sectors: Low Slope, Architectural Standing Seam Metal and Steep-Slope. A roof installed by an ARCA Roofing Contractor Member provides building owners with peace of mind through quality workmanship.
ARCA also plays an important advocacy role for the industry and is affiliated with the Canadian Roofing Contractors Association and National Roofing Contractors Association in the U.S. Additionally, it participates in an advisory capacity in government and industry-related organizations.
