Having a global perspective on a project, communicating time lines, delivery constraints and manpower all play an integral role with all construction projects. This course will introduce the basic tools required in successful project delivery.
Following a prepared case study, students will learn the roles and responsibilities of various construction professionals involved in delivering a project from tender award through to the end of the warranty period. Examining various roles and responsibilities, reporting processes and change procedures through active class discussion will provide students with a better understanding of the industry from a management viewpoint.
Case studies will review common challenges and how to work towards effective solutions.
