Class 304 – Contract Law and Risk Management

Contractors will be introduced to the 5 basic elements of a contract. Learn the differences between verbal and written contracts and the arbitration process that is available in Alberta. When arbitration fails, contractors need to understand the steps to take to proceed through the courts.

The risk management elements will include a look at errors and omissions, general liability and options to minimize financial risk, including contract transference, assumption, reduction of exposure and insurance.
